Can you guess what this is? Let me know who gets it right first ;)
Btw I'm back to
flickr again. I was missing that space and the great photos n photographers there. So decided to go back. But no I won't abandon my poor
photoblog. So have decided to use flickr as the hosting site for the blog.
And I'm now in Chennai and will be around till end of this month. So any suggestions about places to visit, things to do , etc., etc welcome :)

Help, please. All recommend this program to effectively advertise on the Internet, this is the best program!
Is that the sparks from the fire which is used to make corn on beach side in chennai?
Fire from coal used to make Corn ;)
yes... corn, unthuvandi, roadside...
:)
yeah ryt! me too thought it's from some tawa/pan on roadside cart :)
n oye, I dunno what kinda places you are planning to check out in Chennai. My personal favourites are:
1. Kapaaleeswarar Koyil, Mylapore
2. Santhome Church, Mylapore
3. The li'l patch of a park around the Gandhi Statue at Merrina beach..
things to do: a walk down to the beach n have some assorted bajjis doled out by the lady with a big bindi and a kind face. The pudina chutney was yum there.
Have sundal at the park watching the kids play.
Cross the road and go to the old Aavin ice-cream place.
ps: they say the Besant Nagar beach is good. Though I haven't been there in the recent past.
and if I were there, I would've checked out the Guindy park too, just for nostalgia's sake. Had some good time there about 20 yrs back. :) you might want to look it up online, coz Im not too sure about the current state of affairs of that zoo/park.
pps: I'm missing Chennai now. bigtime. :{
ppps: you have funn!!! :)

Hmm.. is it that roadside, corn shop's pic, gud one...
If u r in chennai, dnt miss an evening walk in Merrina beach.. tc..
Why cant it be a "Choottu" [torch made out of dry coconut leves] which was very popular in Kerala villages in olden days ;) ?
@All : It's the fire sparks from a corn making cart in Besant Nagar beach, Chennai. The effect is because of the wind blowing from the sea.
@ Sadhana : You got it right first. Wait for a surprise gift :P
